The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity is subdivided into chapters at various
colleges and universities across North America. These chapters are
known as Zetas, as each chartered chapter of the fraternity is given
a "Zeta", or greek letter designation, which differentiates it from
all other chapters. Before a chapter is chartered it is a colony,
and it is given a colony number until it meets the requirements to be
given a charter.
It is the eternal bond between the brothers of this fraternity
which makes the many chapters and colonies unite into a great,
international fraternity.
You may link up with a chapter or colony on the internet by
state, by school, by Zeta, or below by conclave. A conclave is one of twelve seperate regions into which the United States and Canada is divided.
